{image from Eagle vs Shark}It's hard to believe it's Monday already. But the nights are getting lighter and the days are getting warmer. I'm loving the winter sun. We have been lucky.
It was a very quiet weekend. Actually I had a whole list of things I wanted to achieve but I spent most of the weekend not well in bed. Stink.
Anyhoo, on Friday night I went to The Fish & Chip Shop for dinner and had the 'Cheap as Chips' meal. De-lish.
{Emma at The Fish & Chip Shop}Then we went to see Eagle vs Shark. It was sweet, funny, sad, hilarious, embarrassing. In fact, it was a whole lot of things and it has a lot of quotable lines if that's what you're into sucka! (It has a great soundtrack too).

I've never heard of this movie, the image makes it look pretty funny though! You always have the nicest weekends, I'm jealous, I spent mine working :(
fun! i spent the evening yesterday watching every episode of Flight of the Conchords on HBO (have you already had it there? is it true that "the bird" or middle finger is not a common insulting hand gesture in New Zealand?)
of course now I have to find out when this movie is coming to the US so I can get another Jemaine fix before next season of the show!
Oh I hope you are feeling a little better now? Nothing worse than being unwell on the weekends. mmm fish and chips, mmmm I am hungry now : )
